Attorney Amy E. She has a long track record of successfully resolving lawsuits via trial and dispositive motions, mediation, arbitration and negotiation. Amy developed a strong background in all aspects of all of civil litigation defense being associated with the law firm of Parker, Coulter, Daley & White, and later as a partner at Melick, Porter & Shea before opening her own firm in 2006. Amy has published and lectured frequently in the areas of attorney liability, deposition techniques for scientific and lay witnesses, and effective pretrial litigation tactics. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Women's Bar Association. Amy was recently appointed as co-chair of the Boston Bar Association Committee on Professional Liability for a two year term beginning June 2007. Amy is a cum laude graduate of Wellesley College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature. She graduated in 1989 from Brooklyn Law School where she was a Dean's Merit Scholar, a member of the Executive Committee of the Brooklyn Law School Moot Court Honor Society, and a recipient of the 1989 Order of the Barrister Award. Amy has been selected, based on a vote of all licensed attorneys in Massachusetts, and a review by an independent blue ribbon panel, as a Super Lawyer, as published in Boston Magazine in 2007. This distinction is awarded to only the top 5% of all attorneys in Massachusetts. |

Elise McCarthy Rogers is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Elise has a general civil litigation practice, with particular expertise in matters of medical malpractice defense, as well as general legal and policy issues surrounding patient care and treatment, including Medicaid fraud and abuse, health care proxies and various patient care administrative issues. Elise received a Bachelors of Science degree in Pharmacy from Northeastern University, College of Pharmacy and Allied Health in 1981, and her Juris Doctrate from Suffolk University in 1988. |

Colin K. O'Brien is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Colin focuses his practice on the representation of individuals and businesses in professional liability matters, with an emphasis on legal and medical malpractice defense. In addition, Colin has extensive experience representing clients in product liability, commercial liability and general liability matters. Colin previously worked as a litigation associate with the firms of Morrison Mahoney, LLP, and Campbell, Campbell, Edwards & Conroy, PC, in Boston, MA. Colin graduated magna cum laude from Boston College in 1997 with a B.A. in Political Science. He received his J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2001.
